ATL’s Gluten Free Chocolate Zucchini Cake (can be made with 2 cups regular all purpose flour if desired) Mix dry ingredients together in bowl 2 c gluten free flour 2 c white sugar ¼ c cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp baking powder 1 tsp nutmeg 2 tsp cinnamon
In separate bowl mix together: 1 c oil 3 whole eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 or 2 grated zucchini (depending on size) can also add chopped nuts and/or raisins add wet to dry and mix together spray bunt pan with oil bake in 350 preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes (test for centre to be firm) let cool before turning out

Hello Peterborough English Country Dancers, Despite the heat we had a blast at our season opener last Saturday, September 15. Our next monthly dance is October 20, with pre-dance potluck, details to follow. In the meanwhile, a great opportunity to dance in Toronto next weekend, Saturday, September 29. Robin Hayden, a CDSS administrator and ECD caller will be leading an English Country Dance workshop in afternoon for experience dancers, followed by an evening dance party Both events at Ralph Thornton Centre, 765 Queen Street East (Toronto), two blocks east of Broadview Avenue. Workshop from 1:00 to 4:00, and dress -up dance (Regency or formal attire) from 7:00 to 10:00. Admission: afternoon/evening/both for $20/$35/$45 Also "Strictly English" series in Peterborough with Susie Bunting begins October 14, 2 to 4 pm at St John's Anglican Church . $30 for 5 sessions: Oct 14, Oct 28, Nov 11, Nov 25, Dec 9.
