SwingInto Summer will be opening registration shortly. Read on to learn more aboutthis year’s offerings and how to register; we hope to see you at Pinewoods! Swing Into Summer 2019 June 14-16, 2019 We're so excited to be putting on another wonderful program of music, dance,and all-around fun at Swing into Summer this year. Our all-star staff includes Nova (Kathleen Fownes, Guillaume Sparrow-Pepin, and Everest Witman) playing forcontras called by Dugan Murphy. Our "A+" English lineup - AnnaPatton, Aaron Marcus, and Audrey Knuth - will play to dances called by AdinaGordon. We'll also have ritual and other dance classes and a host of singingoptions including shape note and our legendary pub sing. Aside from all that, we have the wonderful ponds and food of Pinewoods, andplan to fill our other free moments with other workshops, a table-top game session, various beverage tastings, art-by-the pond, and general joviality! Chocolate Chip Squares 1 cup butter or margarine 1 cup brown sugar 2 cups all purpose flour (1/4 cup can be ground flax or oatmeal) 1 cup chocolate chips (butterscotch or peanut butter) 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (pieces or whole) 1 tsp. vanilla
Cream butter with brown sugar. Add flour. Mix well and add remaining ingredients. Press mixture into 9 x 9 unbuttered pan. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes until golden. Cut into squares or bars while warm. Enjoy!
